Why Orlando Chooses Us For Peptide Therapy
We’ve been working with peptides for well over a decade, long before they made headlines.
Our Medical Director, Dr. Luis Martinez, is a co-founder of the Clinical Peptide Society, with more than 20 years in regenerative and age-management medicine.
Every peptide we prescribe comes from a licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy that tests for sterility and potency. Never “research use only” products from the internet.
Your protocol is based on your goals, labs, and history, and we adjust it as you progress.

What is Peptide Therapy?
Peptides are short chains of amino acids, the building blocks of protein. Your body already makes thousands of them, and they act like messengers, telling your cells what to do: repair tissue, release growth hormone, burn fat, fight inflammation, or support sleep.
As we age, many of these signals slow down. Peptide therapy uses specific peptides to support those natural processes, so you can recover faster, feel stronger, and age on your own terms.
What Goals Can Peptide Therapy Help With?
Recovery and Healing. Slow recovery from workouts or injuries, lingering stiffness or joint discomfort.
Strength and Body Composition. Losing muscle or tone despite consistent training, or stubborn body fat.
Energy and Sleep. Persistent fatigue, restless sleep, or waking up tired.
Focus and Mental Clarity. Brain fog or feeling less sharp than you used to.
Metabolic Health. Support for metabolism and cellular energy as part of a bigger plan.
Healthy Aging. Longevity goals, often alongside hormone therapy or weight management.
Hair, Skin, and Nails. Support for thinning hair, skin quality, and collagen.
Sexual Wellness. Support for desire and arousal for both men and women.
Not sure which goal fits you best? That’s exactly what your Discovery Consultation is for.

Not All Peptides Are Created Equal
You’ve probably seen peptides sold online as “research chemicals” or “not for human use.” Those products often have no guarantee of what’s in the vial, how much, or whether it’s sterile.
We do it differently. Every peptide we prescribe is prepared by a licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy that tests for sterility and potency, prescribed by a licensed provider after an evaluation, and monitored by our clinical team.

Our Experience With Peptide Therapy
Peptide therapy spent years on the fringes of mainstream medicine. The clinical research has since caught up, and prescription-grade peptides prepared through licensed compounding pharmacies are now an established part of regenerative and age-management care.
Hormone Therapy of Orlando has been involved in peptide care for well over a decade. Our Medical Director, Dr. Luis Martinez, is a co-founder of the Clinical Peptide Society and has spent more than 20 years in regenerative medicine and age management, with peptide therapy as a core focus.
That depth of experience is why we’re comfortable telling a patient when peptides aren’t the right answer.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is peptide therapy a membership?
No. Peptide therapy is a standalone service. There is no monthly membership, and you do not need to be enrolled in another program here to receive it.
What's complimentary, and what costs money?
The Discovery Consultation is complimentary — it’s a conversation about peptide therapy and our approach. The clinical evaluation, laboratory work, clinical clearance, and provider consultation carry associated costs, as does treatment itself.
Do I need lab work before starting peptides?
Yes. We require appropriate baseline laboratory testing on file before prescribing. Your labs are one input among several, alongside your symptoms, history, age, goals, and current health status.
How will I know whether it's working?
That depends on the peptide. For many, progress is assessed by symptoms, function, recovery, and overall response rather than by follow-up blood work alone. Your provider will explain what to watch for in your case.
How long does peptide therapy take to show results?
Many patients report improved recovery and sleep quality within the first few weeks. Results tied to body composition or longevity goals typically develop over 2 to 4 months of consistent, monitored use. Individual response varies.
Is peptide therapy safe?
Safety depends on using prescription-grade compounds under clinical supervision, with proper screening and ongoing monitoring. Our team evaluates your health history and goals before recommending any peptide, then adjusts your protocol as your response develops.
What's the difference between prescription-grade and research peptides?
Licensed compounding pharmacies prepare prescription-grade peptides in accordance with pharmacy standards. Research-only peptides sold online are not intended for human use and carry no quality assurance. We use prescription-grade compounds only.
Can peptide therapy be combined with other treatments?
Yes. Peptide protocols can be coordinated with hormone therapy, medical weight loss, and vitamin injection support as part of one plan.
Do you accept insurance?
Our concierge model operates outside insurance networks, allowing more focused time with each patient and greater flexibility in building your protocol. We accept HSA payments.
How often will I need to come in?
Visit frequency depends on your protocol and how your body responds. Monitoring is more frequent early on, tapering to periodic telehealth check-ins as your treatment stabilizes.
