I founded Hormone Therapy of Orlando after experiencing one of the biggest health scares of my life. Despite my very healthy lifestyle, post birth control syndrome crippled my ability to produce on its own. Hormonally my body was at a zero. At 28 years old I was told by several specialists that I would never be able to have children and that I had to learn to accept how horrible I felt. My energy levels were low, I suffered terrible night sweats, dry skin and virtually no energy. My health was completely out of balance and low hormones were the culprit.

I decided to run some more investigated labs through my own practice focused on hormone levels, vitamin deficiencies and inflammation markers. Once the results were received I teamed up with a bioidentical specialist who assured me that I was not going crazy or imagining my symptoms. In fact, they said with the help of hormone supplementation I could feel back to my old self again.

Over a decade later, I feel better than I did at 28, have a beautiful son, and feel confident and at peace with my appearance. My sleep has improved, energy levels are up, my skin feels thicker and more resilient and my mood has much improved.

Dr. Martinez earned his medical degree at The Ponce School of Medicine and completed his training at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania. He also completed advanced training courses in Stem Cells in Cancer at the Ponce Health Sciences University / Magee Research Institute consortium. With over 20 years of clinical expertise, Dr. Martinez is not only a skilled physician, but also a global expert lecturer and trainer in the scope of age management medicine. He remains actively involved in research and training and co-founded the nationally recognized Clinical Peptide Society and the Senolytic Therapy Network. Dr. Martinez plays an invaluable role at Hormone Therapy of Orlando in helping our clients regain optimal health and vitality.

Jonathan Roman is a multi-certified, bilingual Physician Assistant with more than 10 years of experience in healthcare. He specializes in bioidentical hormone therapy, hormone pellet therapy, weight management, specialty testing, regenerative medicine, and personalized wellness optimization.

Jonathan is passionate about continuing education and advancing his clinical expertise to provide thoughtful, individualized care. He enjoys helping patients better understand their health and developing personalized treatment plans designed to support their wellness goals and help them look, feel, and perform their best.

Danielle Merwin serves as the Practice Manager and plays an integral role in creating a seamless and exceptional experience for every patient. With more than 10 years of experience in the legal field and over five years in office management, Danielle brings a strong foundation in leadership, organization, communication, and operational excellence to the practice.

Passionate about both people and processes, Danielle works closely with the team to ensure the practice operates efficiently while maintaining the personalized, compassionate approach our patients value. She takes pride in creating a welcoming environment, supporting the clinical team, and building meaningful relationships with patients throughout their wellness journey.

Outside of the office, Danielle enjoys spending time with her husband and their golden retriever, Rylee. She loves reading, discovering new hiking trails, and spending time at the beach.

Carolyn Golden brings five years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, and Wellness Coach to Hormone Therapy of Orlando. With a strong clinical background and exceptional phlebotomy skills, Carolyn is committed to making every patient feel comfortable, supported, and cared for from their very first visit.

As a Wellness Coach, Carolyn especially enjoys building genuine relationships with patients and taking the time to understand their individual health and wellness goals. She believes that meaningful progress begins with listening, education, and ongoing support. Whether helping a patient navigate their hormone optimization journey, establish healthier habits, or work toward broader wellness goals, Carolyn is passionate about providing personalized guidance and encouragement along the way.

Outside of the office, Carolyn treasures spending time with her family and her two dogs, Zoei, a Golden Retriever, and Bruce, a Husky. She also enjoys skincare, art and sketching, caring for her plants, and listening to her favorite minister whenever she gets the chance.

With nearly three decades of experience in health and wellness, Kimberly Hartley brings a whole-person approach to her role as a Medical Assistant and Wellness Coach at Hormone Therapy of Orlando. Her background includes 10 years in plastic surgery as a Medical Aesthetician, Skincare Specialist, and Medical Assistant, along with more than 20 years as a Certified Personal Trainer and group fitness professional.

A Certified Pilates Instructor and Medical Fitness Specialist, Kimberly is passionate about helping patients better understand their health and create meaningful, sustainable lifestyle changes. She enjoys building genuine connections with patients and helping them feel heard, informed, and empowered throughout their wellness journey.

Outside of the office, Kimberly enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, trying new workouts, and spending quality time with her significant other and her dog.
